Battle Creek Area Community Television

The mission of AccessVision is to empower people to strengthen a sense of community, facilitate civic dialogue, and celebrate local culture by communicating through electronic media.

This website is an example of everything that can go right about a project. They were in tune with how the Drupal community worked. They had specific needs to use development versions of modules; for example, MERCI. Converting your community TV network to be Open Media based is no easy task, but we figure out ways to import data from their legacy Facil into Drupal+MERCI.

Following that, we plugged-in feed importers for their programming schedule and video feeds, and put it all in lightboxed Views. The result is an awesome website in which volunteers have a calendar of workshops, equipment reservation, and on-demand streaming of video projects.
