Fit Kid Champions

Fit Kids has developed a transportable, fun toolkit to educate, motivate and reward changes from a child’s sedentary lifestyle to an active one.

It was an extremely fun website to architect, along with the team at Switchback (through which the project was done, of course), we managed to create a super easy interface for kids to add their activities.

The real meat of this website is the user permissions system, where you can have parents creating accounts for their kids, coaches administering groups of kids, and kids being protected properly to comply with COPPA.

We had to improve some contrib modules for this project, mainly Validateage and Subuser, which got patches sent back to the community. There was a lot of OG goodness, many custom modules, and even Google Charts for reporting on kids physical activities.
